The 30 Special Rules of Eating

Here as follows one by one of the rules to be followed before eating.

  1. You should eat that time, while breathing is in the right nostril. It will be helpful for those suffering from acidity, indigestion, etc.
  2. You should not be eaten in the same place to prevent the spread of the virus. People can eat by sitting in line and surrounded by water.
  3. Do not eat oily foods.
  4. Drink a small amount of water before taking meals or eating. Eating with a dry mouth can lead to chest pain. So, the practice of drinking water before eating is a good habit.
  5. While the food has kept in the bowl, you will look at it and worship it in the form of a deity and surround it with a bowl of water.
  6. Before eating, wash your hands, face, and feet with water and sit down to eat. People can live longer by obeying this.
  7. If your father is alive, do not eat facing the south side and if you have a son should not eat facing the north side.
  8. You should not be talking at the time of eating. Sit in the noise-free place at the time of eating.
  9. Do not keep the food bowl in any other place.
  10. Do not eat food after time and in very tight places.
  11. It is obligatory to eat fresh food. After digestion of previous food should eat food
  12. It is the duty to eat the food in moderation. Do not eat food to be fast and slow. It will not be digested.
  13. The senses of humor and jokes must avoid during eating time.
  14. It is obligatory to eat between noon and midnight.
  15. Do not eat a meal during and after the third hour.
  16. Eating in time increases the nutrition power in the body. After the third hour, eating food has no value. It will not give nutritional value. So, during those two times, you should not eat.
  17. A healthy person should never eat without bathing.
  18. Eat the food to fill the half portion of the stomach. Then drink water by filling half of the half portion of the stomach. Then give rest to the half of the half stomach for the breathing process.
  19. Excess eating is the cause of disease. So, it is always a duty to give up excess eating. Keep your stomach a little empty and it will give twice as much energy.
  20. Do not eat wearing a single garment.
  21. If you eat before the time of eating comes, the body will become inactive.
  22. To eat the supernatural food by pleading with God.
  23. It is not permissible to eat at night on the new moon, full moon, Sankranti, and Ekadashi date.
  24. Do not eat very bitter, sour, salty, cold, spicy, smelly, rough food.
  25. Vegetable food should not be eaten at night, as bile will be irritated.
  26. Eating more than you need for hunger also makes sattvic food a tamasic food.
  27. There is no harm in eating not boiled rice or boiled rice traditionally.
  28. It is good to have gold earrings in hand during eating time.
  29. In the eating time, if people first eat liquid things and last, and solid in the middle, they never losses their strength and health.
  30.  Do not eat leafy foods at dinner or before going to bed.
