How to Control Anger?

If we don’t control our anger, we might say or do things for which we regret. Anger is like a fire that burns us first and then spreads to others. When we are angry, our minds become clouded & we cannot think clearly about right and wrong. Anger makes mouths work faster than minds. In prison, most people are not professional criminals but ordinary individuals who cannot control their anger for a brief moment. Here, we will discuss in detail “How to Control Anger?“

Characteristics of Anger

Anger can only be controlled by keeping quiet. An angry person speaks abusive words, which sparks controversy. So, the anger cure is only silence. Let’s discuss.

  • In anger, the person speaks more abusive words, so he feels guilty later.

We should be more self-aware and control our emotions when we become angry. It reminds us to think before we speak.

When you want to express your anger without raising your voice, Do it clearly and calmly. For example: Just say calmly, I feel upset when you become angry with me.

Engage yourself in physical activities like walking and running. It will help to reduce your stress. You will be calm.

Do Relaxation Techniques

Do regular yoga, pranayama, and meditation to control your mind.

If the situation is not in your control, step away from that place for a few minutes to balance the situation.
